Welcome
You found your way here for a reason. Maybe your relationship is hurting in ways you don't know how to fix. Maybe you're preparing for marriage and want to start on the strongest possible foundation. Maybe you simply feel stuck — like you're carrying something too heavy to name.
I'm Annie Harton Kassell, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Indianapolis, Indiana. At You Are More, LLC, I work with couples and individuals who are ready to do the courageous work of restoration — in their relationships, in their sense of self, and in their lives.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices and shaped by warmth, honesty, and deep respect for every person who walks through my door. For those who desire it, I also offer optional Christian faith integration, weaving spiritual perspectives into the therapeutic process in a way that honors your beliefs without ever imposing mine.
For women who love deeply — and are learning to include themselves.
You gave everything to your marriage. To your children. To the life you built together. And somewhere in all of that beautiful giving, you stopped being able to find yourself in it.
You remember there's more to you than what everyone else needs. You're just not sure how to get back to her.
That's exactly where this work begins — supporting wives and mothers in reclaiming who they are, not apart from their families, but as whole women within them.
Annie walks alongside wives and mothers as they return to the women God made them to be — with gentleness, with truth, and without losing what matters most.
You might be here if...You love your family deeply — and you've quietly lost track of who you are outside of them.
You might be here if...You feel guilty for wanting something for yourself, even though you can't quite name what that is.
You might be here if...You've been pouring from an empty cup for so long, you've forgotten what it felt like to be full.
You might be here if...You want to be present for the people you love — and you know that starts with being present to yourself.
You might be here if...You believe God made you for more than exhaustion — and you're finally ready to find out what that looks like.

My Approach
I believe that real healing happens in relationship — in the safety of being truly seen, heard, and understood without judgment. My therapeutic approach is collaborative: we work together as partners in your growth, at a pace that feels right for you.
I draw from evidence-based modalities including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based approaches. But more than any technique, I believe it's the quality of our therapeutic relationship that creates the foundation for lasting change.
Whether you're navigating the pain of a broken relationship, preparing for the journey of marriage, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I'm here to walk alongside you.
Creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing — even the parts that feel hardest to say aloud.
Proven therapeutic modalities tailored to your unique needs, ensuring the strategies we use together are backed by research and refined by experience.
You are the expert on your own life. Therapy here is a partnership — I bring clinical insight, you bring your courage and willingness to grow.
Addressing mind, heart, and spirit. For those who desire faith integration, we explore spiritual dimensions alongside clinical best practices.
Faith & Therapy
If your faith is an important part of who you are, it can also be an important part of your healing. I offer optional Christian faith integration for clients who wish to explore spiritual dimensions alongside evidence-based therapy. This might include prayer, scripture reflection, or conversations about how your faith informs your relationships and sense of purpose.
This is always your choice. Faith integration is offered as an invitation, never an expectation. Whether you come from a strong faith tradition, you're exploring spirituality, or you prefer a fully secular approach, you will be met with equal warmth, respect, and professional care.
You Are More, LLC welcomes all individuals and couples regardless of faith background, ethnicity, orientation, or life circumstance. Everyone deserves a safe space to heal.

Therapy is private. The relationship itself carries a weight that makes asking for a public endorsement complicated.
You may have noticed that this website doesn't have client testimonials. That's intentional. The fact that someone is or has been a client is protected health information, and even a well-meaning request for a review can feel like pressure when it comes from someone who has sat with you through the hardest parts of your life.
The ethics codes that govern licensed therapists recognize this, and so do I.
If you're trying to decide whether I might be the right fit, I'd rather you get that sense from my own words. Read the blog. Listen to the podcast. Read Single Truth. Schedule a consultation and ask me anything you need to ask. What you encounter there is the same voice you'll meet in session.
If you've worked with me and want to share your experience, you're always free to do that on your own. I just won't be the one asking.
